Despite undergoing Tommy John Surgery his senior year in high school, Jack Sterritt is on scholarship as a right-handed reliever for the UCF Knights. He compiled a 7-3 record with 80 strikeouts in 55 innings his junior year in high school. Sterritt was also selected to Perfect Game’s 2007 Top Southeast Prospect Team as a sophomore. Last summer, Sterritt went 4-0 with a 1.20 ERA as a pitcher for the Florida Bombers who were runner up in the 2009 WWBA East Cobb Showcase.
