This past season, Oliver Powers made 5 appearances for Radford and stuck out more batters than innings pitched.  As a freshman, Powers accumulated 16 innings and posted a 3.55 ERA. His early success is a promising sign for this tall right-hander and with the development and coaching he will receive in the coming years, the sky is the limit. The waves are excited to have him on the mound this summer and expect to see great things from Powers.  In high school, Powers was a three-sport athlete (baseball, basketball, football) and earned the school’s Joseph A. Sartori Award for Sportsmanship and Cooperation by varsity coaches.
