Kyle joins his fellow Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, Menou and Threlkeld
for some Huskies action this summer…In 2009 Kyle was named
Academic All-WAC...Two-way player for the Bulldogs...Appeared
in 24 games, while starting seven as a designated hitter...Saw
time as an outfielder...Also made 17 appearances on the mound
where he went 4-0...Strung together a nine-game hitting streak
(4/19-5/14)...Went 5-for-12 (.417 BA) as a pinch hitter and 6-for-14
(.429 BA) with runners in scoring position...Lettered two years at
Klein High School under head coach Barry Smith...As a junior, he
was named First Team All-District 16-5A as a first baseman...Batted
.400 as a junior...Was a member of the Klein team that advanced
to the playoffs...Named first team all-district as an outfielder and
third team all-Houston as a senior...Also during his senior year, he
helped lead his team to the district and area championships, while
batting .416 with two home runs...Also played football for Klein as
a wide receiver...Received Who’s Who Among High School Students
honor.

Personal: Son of Larry and Brenda Roliard...Has one brother, Kevin
and one sister, Kelly...Majoring in kinesiology...Born Feb. 28, 1990,
in Houston, Texas.
