Rob played all his minor sports in Regina and now dedicates his time developing sport, recreation and physical activity initiatives within our province.  After graduating from the University of Regina (B. Ed – Physical Education), Rob has spent the past 14 years coaching various sports in Regina and surrounding area.  His approach to coaching continues to help Saskatchewan athletes strive for their athletic dreams, but more importantly achieve personal success.

Rob’s experience coaching elite baseball began as a pitching coach with Saskatchewan Baseball from 2001-2004, as well as the 2005 Canada Summer Games team.  In 2006 Rob signed on as the pitching coach for the Regina Red Sox and fulfilled the role for three seasons.  Now in his third season as the manager of our club, Rob is looking to build on last year’s success after leading the Red Sox to their best season in 2010.  They finished with a regular season record of 29-13, captured the East Division Pennant and earned the Red Sox first trip to the WMBL Championship.

In addition to coaching with the Red Sox, Rob is a physical education teacher with the Regina Public School Board.  Rob provides guidance, support and a fun learning environment to all of his students at Thom Collegiate, which he began teaching at in the fall of 2008.  Prior to that, Rob taught for 10 years at Martin Collegiate.

At school Rob is known as “Mr. C”, on the field he is known as “Coach C”, but most importantly he is known as “Dad” to his children. Rob and his wife Natasha have two sons, (Tyan and Kael) and a daughter (Meela).
