Cole makes his way to the Park City for his Atlantic League debut in his seventh season of professional baseball. He began the 2013 season within the Atlanta Braves organization, splitting time between Triple-A Gwinnett and Double-A Mississippi. He combined to go 1-1 in 24 games with a 32 strikeouts over the course of 41.0 innings pitched.

The 27-year-old has reached as high as the Triple-A level in his career. His best season came in 2011 where he combined to go 9-3 in 37 games with a 2.57 ERA between High-A, Double-A and Triple-A in the Baltimore Orioles organization. In Double-A Bowie (2011) the lefty gave up just three earned runs in 33.2 innings pitched (0.80 ERA). He owns a career 42-44 record with a 3.88 ERA and 645 strikeouts in 695 innings of work.

Cole was taken in the 43rd round of the 2007 June Amateur Draft from Tennessee Wesleyan College by the Baltimore Orioles.
