| John Raiola joins the Mainers for the first time as the pitching coach. He currently coaches at Keene State College, joining the Owls back in 2009. Last season, Raiola served as the pitching coach for the Sag Harbor Whalers in the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League. Though he is with Sanford for the first time, he is not unfamiliar with the NECBL as he served as the pitching coach for the Keene Swamp Bats for the 2011 season. The Swamps Bats went on to win the NECBL championship that same year. Prior to that, he served on the coaching staff for the Newport Gulls in both 2009 and 2010. Raiola helped coach the Gulls to a championship in 2009. | |||||||
