This is Taka Miyoshi's fourth year as a coach. In his first year with Grand Prairie he will be the infield coach for the team. He has experience in the league already as a coach. Last year he worked for the Sioux City Explorers, under manager Stan Cliburn, as a first base coach. He also served as an assistant coach for the Brockton Rox in 2011 and the Victoria Seals in 2009. He also managed the team in the California Winter League. (Scouting League) During his time with the Victoria Seals in Golden Baseball League he also played for Darrell Evans.He had played for the Samurai Bears in the Golden League, the Eau Claire Cavaliers, Carina Red Sox in Austrailia, and the London Monarchs in Canada. He also played for a year in Japan with an industry team. From 1998-2000 he played in Middlesex, New Jersey at Middlesex County College. |
