Atlantic League veteran Enohel Polanco returns for his fourth season as a coach on the Revs staff. Polanco made the transition from player to coach in 2010, initially as the club’s first ever “player-coach”, holding both an active roster spot as an infielder as well as a spot on the coaching staff. With Polanco, the Revolution have a respected veteran whose Atlantic League ties run deep. The 2013 season is his 11th in the league, and the Revolution are his sixth Atlantic League team. For his entire Atlantic League career, Polanco batted a combined .290 (299-for-1031) in 298 games, with 15 homers and 39 steals. Polanco began his pro career in 1995 in the Mets organization, and has also suited up in the Cubs, Indians, Marlins, and Rockies farm systems, reaching Triple-A with Cleveland and Florida in 2000. |
