Ryan Bean is a 6-4, 220 lbs. right handed pitcher from Mesa, Arizona who attended Edmonds Community College in Seattle, Washington. Bean was drafted in the 17th round by the San Francisco Giants in the 2010 MLB Draft. Bean started his professional career in 2010 with the Arizona League (AZL) Giants posting a 1-0 record with a 1.47 ERA in 19 games as a relief pitcher. In 2011, Bean played for two teams the; AZL Giants and the Augusta Greenjackets of Augusta, Georgia, in which he posted a combined record of 2-1 with a 4.32 ERA in 16 games as a relief pitcher. Bean did not play or record any statistics in 2012.
