A powerful right-handed pitcher, Allen comes to the Waves from Moscow Mills, Missouri. Allen comes off a successful debut season at Jefferson College, where he helped the Vikings, ranked No. 2 in the country during the season, finish fifth at the NJCAA JUCO World Series. Allen started seven of eight games he appeared in this past season   In 29.2 innings pitched, he struck out 31 batters was 5-1. Allen ended the year with an ERA of 5.16. As a senior at Troy Buchannan High School in 2012, he was named second team All-Conference as an outfielder and was named Honorable Mention All-Conference as a pitcher.
