Tobi will make his Park City debut during his seventh season of professional baseball. Last year, the former Major Leaguer split time between Double-A Binghamton and Single-A St. Lucie of the New York Mets organization. In 21 combine appearances (19 starts) he recorded five victories and 67 strikeouts in 105.2 innings of work.

The 27-year-old got his first taste of ‘The Show’ in 2009 with the Mets, appearing in four games and posting a 4.00 ERA over the course of nine innings pitched. He would then pitch in one contest for New York the following season before reporting to Triple-A Buffalo. Stoner’s best year in the minors came in 2009 before his call-up to the big leagues, when he set a career-high nine wins and compiled a 3.55 ERA with 92 punchouts in 23 starts. Over the course of 132 career minor games (129 starts), he owns a 4.33 ERA and 518 strikeouts in 725.2 innings pitched.

Tobi was drafted by the New York Mets in the 16th round of the 2006 amateur draft.
