Henry George joins Sioux City after two seasons with the Northern Colorado Owls in the Pioneer League, where he hit .336 with 28 home runs, 125 RBI, and 51 stolen bases in 177 games. George played all three outfield spots during his career.

He spent four years at the University of Minnesota-Duluth before transferring to South Dakota State as a graduate student in 2022. At SDSU, he hit .294 with four home runs, 17 RBI, and 13 stolen bases in 45 games. George led the team in walks and tied for the lead in runs scored.

At Minnesota-Duluth, George was a three-year starter and two-time team captain, hitting .351 with 26 doubles, six triples, two home runs, and 56 RBI. He earned twice second-team all-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference honors and was named team MVP in 2021.

George grew up in Woodbury, Minnesota, and graduated from New Life Academy, where he was a four-year starter and a member of the 2015 state championship team. He earned All-State and All-State Academic honors in 2017 and played soccer and basketball. George holds a degree in business from Minnesota-Duluth.
