Lydon comes to the AppleSox after working as the Assistant Director of Player Development/Student Manager at Oregon the last two seasons. He played for three different schools during his playing career, including briefly with the Ducks in 2020 before the COVID-19 shutdown. The Eugene, Oregon, native began his playing career at Seattle U in 2018 before transferring to Linn-Benton in 2019. Lydon signed to play with the AppleSox in 2020 but never got the chance to due to the pandemic.
