Michael Dimock is a pitcher from Wake Forest University. This season, Dimock was 5-1 in 27 appearances. He held opposing batters to 40 hits, while striking out 51 and walking 9. He is coming out of his junior season with the Deacons with a team low ERA of 2.03.

In his sophomore season, Dimock went 3-9 with a 6.32 ERA, appearing in 15 games, and starting 12 of them.  He also recorded one save. In his freshman year, he appeared in 21 games, staring in eight. That season he recorded a 6.46 ERA with a 4-4 record and two saves. In 2009 Dimock became ranked second in school history for his strikeout-walk ratio of 3.19 (51-16) as a freshman.

During his high school career he was a 4-year starter at Wesleyan High School. He was named an all-conference player four times and was part of the all-state selection three times. He was named All-State Player of the Year his senior season after winning the state championship that year. He was also the number one pitcher on a league team that went to a summer league world series. He is the son of Ken and Susan Dimock.
