After finishing his sophomore season as Harvard’s top hitter for average, Reynolds began his junior spring this season on pace to repeat the feat.

            Through the Crimson’s opening 40 games, Reynolds hit a team-best .303 with eight doubles, one triple, two homers and 17 RBI.

            As a sophomore, he hit a top-of-the-chart .359 with nine doubles, one triple, three homers, and 25 RBI.

            As a freshman, Reynolds appeared in 20 games as a utility player and hit the ball well. He finished with a .360 average and .411 on-base percentage, while also making seven strong relief appearances as a pitcher. That summer, he played in the Cal Ripken Senior League in Rockville and hit .298 with a .356 on-base percentage.

            While at Shorecrest Prep in Florida, Reynolds was a three-time All-State and All-Conference honoree, finding time at almost every position on the field. He played at Shorecrest for former Gatemen manager and Cape League Hall of Famer Don Reed.

            Reynolds was also a decorated student and two-time Scholar Athlete choice, among several other honors. He was the recipient of the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award and has performed volunteer aid work in Brazil and Niger.
