Nunn, a Nashville, Tenn. native, joined the Otters in August after spending the beginning of 2017 as a Milwaukee Brewers farmhand. Following his collegiate career at Lipscomb University, Nunn was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 24th round of the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft. Nunn reached as high as Double-A in the Padres organization in 2015 with the San Antonio Missions. Nunn was 20-4 with a 4.01 ERA and totaling 242 strikeouts in four seasons with the Padres organization.
