Sasha Kuebel was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 31st round of the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft from St. Louis University HS (St. Louis , MO) and by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 38th round of the 2014 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of Iowa (Iowa City , IA).   


Kuebel started the 2016 season with the Peoria Chiefs (A-StL) and comes to the Beach Bums from Gateway.


Last season, he split time between Johnson City(RK-StL) and Peoria, going 4-3 with a 3.13 ERA.


He started his professional career with Johnson City and GC Cardinals(RK-StL), going 2-1 3.34. While at Iowa, Kuebel was a three time member of the Big Ten Watch List. He was named to the preseason All Big Ten team in 2013 and was on the Big Ten all-Freshman team in 2012.


Full name is Nicholas Sasha Kuebel.
