An outstanding effort by Brian Henschel carried the San Angelo Colts (28-30) to a 3-2 win in 10 innings over the Abilene Prairie Dogs (22-34) on Monday at Foster Field.

Henschel handled the Abilene Prairie Dogs' lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. Henschel allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks over nine innings.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the tenth, with five lead changes.

The San Angelo Colts pulled out the win thanks to a strong tenth inning. A wild pitch scored J.J. Sherrill to give the San Angelo Colts the lead for good.

Erik Draxton improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the San Angelo Colts. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Kevin Gelinas (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
