The Wichita Wingnuts (32-17) outlasted the Amarillo Sox (27-23) on Saturday after four lead changes, squeaking out a 6-3 win at Amarillo National Bank Sox Stad.

Gerardo Avila racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Wichita Wingnuts. He homered in the eighth inning.

Derek Blacksher picked up the win for the Wichita Wingnuts. Blacksher pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out four.

Chuck Lofgren got on base three times in the game for the Amarillo Sox. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh innings.

Phil Bartleski couldn't get it done on the hill for the Amarillo Sox, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in eight innings, walked none and struck out two.
