The Amarillo Sox fall 8-1 at the hands of the Grand Prairie AirHogs

The Amarillo Sox (21-22) didn't put up much of a fight on Monday, as the Grand Prairie AirHogs (30-13) cruised to a blowout 8-1 win at QuikTrip Park.

The Grand Prairie AirHogs scored three runs in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Bryan Frichter and a two-run home run by Brian Myrow.

Trent Lockwood racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Lance Day picked up the win for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. Day allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Phil Bartleski was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out three.
