The Wichita (12-3) needed 10 innings on Saturday to take down the Grand Prairie (8-7) 5-4 at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

With the score tied at four, CJ Ziegler came to the plate and homered.

John Rodriguez racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Wichita. He singled in the first, third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Matt Nevarez got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered no hits.

Griffin Bailey couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Grand Prairie, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
