The Rockford RiverHawks (22-29) took the last of five lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the River City Rascals (27-25), securing a 8-7 victory on Monday at RiverHawks Stadium.

Michael Hur racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Rockford RiverHawks. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Jason Patton was solid at the plate for the River City Rascals. Patton went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.

Mickey Cassidy got the win, running his season record to 2-1. Cassidy struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Alex Sunderland was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
