The Gateway Grizzlies (10-11) and the Lake Erie Crushers (7-14) traded the lead six times on Sunday, but the Gateway Grizzlies ended up on top with a 5-4 win over the Lake Erie Crushers.

The Gateway Grizzlies finally managed to grab the lead after a strong ninth inning. A sacrifice fly by Antone DeJesus scored Casey Allison and gave the Gateway Grizzlies the lead for good.

Kellen Kulbacki racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Lake Erie Crushers. He homered in the fourth inning.

Paul Tremlin recorded his second win of the year for the Gateway Grizzlies. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jonathan Kountis was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
