The Evansville Otters (13-21) didn't put up much of a fight on Saturday, as the Florence Freedom (21-13) cruised to a blowout 9-2 win at Bosse Field.

The Florence Freedom scored four runs in the eighth on an error, , an RBI single by Eddie Rodriguez, and a single by Jim Jacquot.

Junior Arrojo got on base four times in the game for the Florence Freedom. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and fourth innings.

Maxx Catapano struck out six hitters en route to the the Florence Freedom win. Catapano allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks over six innings.

Nick Schwaner had a hot bat for the Evansville Otters. Schwaner went 2-4 and scored two runs. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Bryce Morrow ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
