Joey Miller hit two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Roswell Invaders (42-18) to a win on Thursday, as the Roswell Invaders fell to the Alpine Cowboys (28-30) 11-10 at Kokernot Field.

A walk-off single by Crisford Adames gave the Alpine Cowboys the win.

Adames racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 21 total runs and 27 hits during the game. There were nine pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

JJ Graham went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the second, sixth, and ninth innings.

Chris Rogers recorded his third win of the year for the Alpine Cowboys. Rogers struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Mike Scimanico (0-1) took the loss for the Roswell Invaders. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
