The Florence Freedom (20-30) put in a full day's work in a 12-inning, 6-4 win over the Normal CornBelters (23-27) Sunday at The Corn Crib.

With the score tied at four, Isaac Wenrich came to the plate and doubled, scoring Jordan Brower and Josh Henderson.

Collins Cuthrell racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Florence Freedom. He homered in the fourth inning.

The Normal CornBelters couldn't get anything going so long as Jordan Kraus was on the hill. Kraus gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out three during his 6 2/3 innings of work.

RJ Perucki racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Normal CornBelters. He homered in the ninth inning and singled in the fifth and eleventh innings.

Zach Wendorf improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Florence Freedom. He allowed one run over three innings. Wendorf struck out four, walked none and gave up one hit.

Francisco Carrillo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
