Thursday was a great day for Corey Kimes, as Kimes pitched eight shutout innings to carry the Gateway Grizzlies (21-21) to a 2-1 victory over the Washington Wild Things at CONSOL Energy Park.
Matt Fraudin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
