Cody Herald went 2-3 as the Lake Erie Crushers (14-12) took home a 3-2 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (17-11) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Tuesday.

Todd Kibby pitched lights out for the Lake Erie Crushers. Kibby gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Windy City ThunderBolts' Brady Muller dominated the Lake Erie Crushers' batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.

Mike Devine got the win, running his season record to 4-1. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Brian Loconsole ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
