Blair Beck knocked in three runs as the Windy City ThunderBolts (14-3) took home a 5-3 victory over the Southern Illinois Miners (8-8) at Standard Bank Stadium on Wednesday.

He tripled in the eighth inning.

Brady Muller handled the Southern Illinois Miners' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Muller allowed three earned runs on five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Dyllon Nuernberg was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Windy City ThunderBolts batters and allowing one run.

Brandon Boyle improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Jake Cose ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
