Friday was a great day for Brady Muller, as Muller gave up one hit to carry the Windy City ThunderBolts (6-1) to a 2-1 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers (1-6) at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium.
The Schaumburg Boomers were ahead early but they ultimately surrendered the lead for good. The Schaumburg Boomers led until the seventh inning, but the Windy City ThunderBolts took the lead back on an RBI double by Kevin Barker.
A bright spot for the Schaumburg Boomers in the defeat was Scott Schultz, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.
