The Windy City ThunderBolts (2-1) built an early edge on Friday, but the Florence Freedom (1-1) roared back to steal a 7-1 victory at UC Health Stadium.

Jeremy Gooding racked up seven strikeouts in the the Florence Freedom win. Gooding allowed one earned run on four hits and no walks over six innings.

Brady Muller (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
