Michael Morris went 2-5 and hit a home run, sparking the Roswell Invaders (3-2) to a 7-4 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (2-3) on Sunday at Joe Bauman Park.

The Alpine Cowboys couldn't get anything going so long as Ryan Davis was on the hill. Davis held the Alpine Cowboys hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Collin Forgey racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Alpine Cowboys. He tripled in the seventh inning.

Josh Wright got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Pat Lemmo couldn't get it done on the mound for the Alpine Cowboys, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
