The Washington Wild Things (18-25) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Joliet Slammers (19-24) captured a blowout 11-4 win at CONSOL Energy Park.

Sam Mende had a hot bat for the Washington Wild Things. Mende went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.
