Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Las Vegas Train Robbers (21-29) outscored the Trinidad Triggers (36-15) 10-8 in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 14 hits in the game.
Tyler Shannon racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He homered in the first inning.
Lance Fairchild struck out six, paving the way for a the Las Vegas Train Robbers win. Fairchild allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over 4 2/3 innings.
Trevor Sealey racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third inning.
Daniel Karasinski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
