Sunday was a great day for Chevas Numata, as he hit three home runs to carry the Santa Fe Fuego (23-16) to a 16-10 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (30-14) at Fort Marcy Park.

Numata racked up nine RBIs on three hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He homered in the third, seventh, and eighth innings.

Trevor Sealey blasted two home runs for the Trinidad Triggers. Sealey went 2-4 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Sealey homered in the first and second innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 26 total runs and 25 hits during the game. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 10 pitchers in total.

The Santa Fe Fuego turned the win into a rout with seven runs in the seventh. The Santa Fe Fuego scored in the seventh on , a home run by Numata, a fielder's choice, and a groundout by Connor Lorenzo.

Clayton Voechting improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. Voechting struck out three, walked one and gave up no hits.

Jeffrey Neptune (4-2) took the loss for the Trinidad Triggers. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
