Nelson reached base two times in the game for the Schaumburg Boomers. He scored two runs and had one RBI.

Eddie Cody improved to 10-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered seven hits.
