The Frontier Greys need extra frames to finish the Normal CornBelters, win 7-5

It took 10 innings, but the Frontier Greys (39-45) managed to put away the Normal CornBelters (51-33) 7-5 on Sunday at The Corn Crib.

With the score tied at five, Shane Brown came to the plate and homered, bringing home Francisco Rosario.

Brown blasted two home runs for the Frontier Greys. Brown went 2-5 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Brown homered in the sixth and tenth innings.

The Normal CornBelters' lineup had no answer for Kyle Bogese. Bogese held the Normal CornBelters hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

Mark Micowski led the Normal CornBelters' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He homered in the sixth inning.

Race Parmenter (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
