Michael Hur had two extra base hits, helping the Rockford Aviators (37-26) to a 6-5 victory over the Normal CornBelters (35-29) on Friday at Aviator Stadium.

Mark Micowski was solid at the plate for the Normal CornBelters. Micowski went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jake Negrete pitched lights out for the Normal CornBelters. The Rockford Aviators managed just one hit off of the the Normal CornBelters' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Kyle Brueggemann recorded his sixth win of the year for the Rockford Aviators. He allowed four runs over six innings. Brueggemann struck out five, walked four and gave up seven hits.

Robert Baroniel (1-2) took the loss for the Normal CornBelters. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
