The Rockford Aviators (34-24) took home a 10-2 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers (25-34) on Saturday at Boomers Stadium, fueled by five runs in the seventh inning.

The Rockford Aviators scored in the seventh on a double by Elijah Trail, a single by Justin Fox, a sacrifice fly by Tyler Smith, a solo home run by Anthony Renteria, an RBI single by Brian Bistagne, , and a single by Eric Cendejas.

Danny Stienstra racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Rockford Aviators. He doubled in the sixth innings and singled in the ninth inning.

Kyle Brueggemann recorded his fifth win of the year for the Rockford Aviators. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Eddie Cody ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
