Austin Prott went 2-4 as the Lake Erie Crushers (25-31) took home a 2-0 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums (33-24) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Saturday.

Mike Devine brought the heat against the Traverse City Beach Bums during his outing. The Traverse City Beach Bums managed just one hit off of Devine, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

The Lake Erie Crushers' lineup had no answer for Chuck Ghysels. Ghysels held the Lake Erie Crushers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

Daniel DeSimone improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. DeSimone struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Kramer Champlin was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed two runs.
