Coco Johnson went 1-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Windy City ThunderBolts (19-30) to a 2-1 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums (31-18) on Sunday at Standard Bank Stadium.

Zak Wasserman pitched 5 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out two.

Ian MacDougall allowed two earned runs, six hits and no walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Chris DeBoo improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. DeBoo struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

MacDougall ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year.
