The Schaumburg Boomers (10-12) beat the Frontier Greys (7-12) 13-4 on Sunday thanks to a six-run seventh inning.

The Schaumburg Boomers scored in the seventh on an RBI triple by Jordan Dean, an error, a sacrifice fly by Justin Vasquez, a two-run single by Craig Massey, and an RBI double by Mike Schulze.

Dean racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Schaumburg Boomers.

Eddie Cody picked up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. Cody allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Jhiomar Veras racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Frontier Greys. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Jordan Kraus ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked six, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
