A walk-off single from Clemente Parra brought home the winning run for the Bisbee Blue (25-19) in a 13-12 victory over the Roswell Invaders (26-19) at Warren Ballpark on Saturday.
The Bisbee Blue were led by Parra's hitting. Parra went 1-1 and scored one run. He singled in the ninth inning.
Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 25 runs and 35 hits, including zero extra base hits. Both bullpens were busy with nine pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.
Daniel Aldrich led the Bisbee Blue's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second and fifth innings and tripled in the sixth inning.
Joe Robinson got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over two innings. Robinson struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.
Ernie Zaragoza was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
The Bisbee Blue pounded the Roswell Invaders pitching, as six hitters combined for 12 hits, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
