The Douglas Diablos (17-21) lost despite Logan Lotti's spectacular day from both the mound and the plate.

The Douglas Diablos were led by Lotti's hitting. Lotti went 2-3 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Lotti brought the heat against the Alpine Cowboys during his outing. Lotti held the Alpine Cowboys (29-12) hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Anthony Figliola picked up the win for the Alpine Cowboys. Figliola pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out five.

Tim OCallaghan was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out one.
