The Santa Fe Fuego drub the Las Vegas Train Robbers, 17-2

The Las Vegas Train Robbers (5-13) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Santa Fe Fuego (13-4) captured a blowout 17-2 win at Fort Marcy Park.

The Santa Fe Fuego scored seven runs in the seventh on the Santa Fe Fuego scored in the seventh on an RBI single by Craig Massey, a two-run double by Aaron Carman, an RBI single by Nick Billinger, and a three-run home run by Jeramiah Steinart.

Steinart improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered four hits.

Olsen (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out four.

The Santa Fe Fuego easily handled the Las Vegas Train Robbers pitching as seven hitters combined for 16 hits, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
