The Alpine Cowboys (20-5) and the Douglas Diablos (7-15) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Alpine Cowboys that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-3 win at Kokernot Field.

Matt Henrickson had a hot bat for the Alpine Cowboys. Henrickson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Corben Green put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Douglas Diablos. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the first and fifth innings.

John Cruse improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Alpine Cowboys. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

Ocallahan (0-1) took the loss for the Douglas Diablos. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
