Kolin Conner went 2-3 and hit a home run, helping the Evansville Otters (55-35) to a 3-0 victory over the Florence Freedom (41-52) on Sunday at Bosse Field.

Edgar Lopez baffled the Florence Freedom, striking out six batters. The Evansville Otters' pitcher tossed four innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Sam Eberle had two extra-base hits for the Florence Freedom. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the first and seventh innings.

Anthony Collazo recorded his fourth win of the year for the Evansville Otters. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Dave Middendorf was charged with his eighth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
