Jaime Del Valle did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Evansville Otters, reaching base three times. He doubled in the third inning.

Tanner Tripp recorded his second win of the year for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Jose Velez (1-4) took the loss for the Evansville Otters. He lasted just six innings, walked six, struck out 11, and allowed four runs.
