The Lake Erie Crushers (40-32) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 12-1 win over the Rockford Aviators (30-42) at Aviator Stadium.

The Lake Erie Crushers scored four runs in the second on the Lake Erie Crushers scored in the second on an RBI single by Joey Burney, an RBI single by P.J. Torres, and a two-run single by Trevor Stevens.

Stevens racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Lake Erie Crushers.

Brad Zambron had an impressive outing against the Rockford Aviators' lineup. The Rockford Aviators managed just two hits off of Zambron, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Dusty Robinson put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Rockford Aviators. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the first and fifth innings.

Josh Slaats was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked five and struck out one.

The Lake Erie Crushers pounded the Rockford Aviators pitching, as six hitters combined for 12 hits, 10 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
