The Lake Erie Crushers (40-32) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 12-1 win over the Rockford Aviators (30-42) at Aviator Stadium.

The Lake Erie Crushers scored four runs in the second on the Lake Erie Crushers scored in the second on an RBI single by Joey Burney, an RBI single by P.J. Torres, and a two-run single by Trevor Stevens.

Josh Slaats was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked five and struck out one.

The Lake Erie Crushers pounded the Rockford Aviators pitching, as six hitters combined for 12 hits, 10 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
