Preston Olson held the Gateway Grizzlies (37-22) scoreless for six innings to boost the Evansville Otters (34-22) to a 11-3 victory.

Olson struck out six and allowed one walk and seven hits.

Seven runs in the opening three innings allowed the Evansville Otters to easily put away the Gateway Grizzlies. A solo home run by Nik Balog, a solo home run by Jeremy Nowak, and a two-run home run by Josh Allen in the second inning fueled the Evansville Otters' offense early.

Allen racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Evansville Otters.

Aaron Newcomb couldn't get it done on the bump for the Gateway Grizzlies, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked five and struck out two.
